What a great fortnight's challenge that was Sarn - thanks so much for running two prize draws, the usual one, plus one for the Jubilee. That already seems a while ago now - the Playground is all tidied up, the bunting is down and the empties have gone to recycling. ☺ No doubt there will be something new happening before long though.
For me, the highlight of the weekend's official events was our Queen with Paddington Bear right at the start of the 'Platinum Jubilee Concert'. I will never hear the opening beats of Queen playing 'We Will Rock You' without thinking of our own dear Queen (and Paddington) tinkling their cups and saucers to the beat! Totally brilliant! And what a good sport HM is, as well as so human when you see her in a 'normal setting'. HERE is the full video of HM and Paddington on YouTube - in case you missed it. ☺
As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 25th June. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.
The latest news of Dudley is also over on my own Pixie's blog post for today - HERE. He needs to go to school to learn good manners!
Fantastic snippets card using a lovely die
ReplyDeleteYep - the Jubilee Tea Party was a lot of fun. Thanks for clearing up so many empties. We did a lot of washing-up too didn’t we, but everyone had fun. Although We’ve yet to ascertain for sure who lit that beacon so close to the Treehouse!!!!! X
Phew! Although I got in first, and enjoyed a lovely hot buttered crumpet in the Treehouse Breakfast Club, I nearly panicked when Mr Google wouldn’t let me comment. Managed to change one of my settings and hey presto I’m now allowed to speak! I’ll say no thanks to this one Di, as I’ve got lots of other new stuff to play with at the moment, but good luck everyone! Xxx
ReplyDeleteFabulous snippets card, Di. I’ll be a Yes Please for my name to go into the draw. Great Jubilee Tea Party, but it wasn’t me who lit the beacon so close to the Treehouse. Rumour has it that it was Sarn, but don’t tell her I told you. 😉 xx
ReplyDeleteWhaatttt? I deny everything!!!
DeleteDudley snitched anyhow! x
DeleteWhat A PERFECT Snippets card Di! I love the colors!!! Thanks for the Jubilee video! I'll just be playing for fun this time!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful snippets card with those lovely papers! I just love the colorful way you designed this and I have to smile every time I see it! Playing just for fun this time, but I'll see you around the treehouse for some antics I'm sure :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love this vibrant colors.
ReplyDeleteFabulous inspiration, great die to use snippets! Thanks to Jackie T for the amazing prize, love it so much, is very elegant! Hope to have time to play.
ReplyDeleteAlso in Italy there were a lot of videos about your Queen's Jubilee!
Hope Dudley could learn good manners quickly :D
I love this fun group! The teasing about the mischief- or perceived mischief- makes me smile! I especially loved sharing in the excitement of the 70th Jubilee. It's so much more fun when I now have friends who live across the pond. Plus, I really do admire your Queen. Now... let's talk about prizes. I raise my hand with a yes please for being in the draw. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteFAB make and prize .. just uploaded my own entry but I'm just playing for fun this time around

ReplyDeleteJust playing for fun good luck all who take part xx
ReplyDeleteWow, such a wonderful card Di, and an inspiration for me to try later. I always love the look of a white die cut with brightly colored papers. I enjoyed the Paddington tea party with the Queen when I saw it online during the Jubilee, and loved that sense of humor that was so well showcased. The party at the treehouse was even more fun than the Paddington video..and a lot noisier too, haha! I think I overdosed on cake, but I'll just have to cut out dessert this week to make up for it. Totally worth it though.
ReplyDeleteYes Please to the prize, as that's a beautiful stamp and die.
Just playing for fun. CarolG
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to Paddington and the Queen. I didn't see the whole thing until now. So sweet! Yes, please to the prize.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Di, I love that fancy die you have! I'm playing just for fun 😁
ReplyDeleteThe Paddington sketch was fab, I would have loved to have seen the Queen's reaction when she saw it herself!
Loved that video of the Queen and Paddington Bear - what a woman our Queen is!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Maxine
Gorgeous card, think I might have to invest in that die! I am just playing for fun this time. Sorry I missed the Queen's Jubilee Playground Party, it sounds like lots of fun and naughtiness was had by all! The Paddington sketch was priceless! Will pop over to see what Dudly has been upto a bit later. Take care and hugs my friend xxx

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your card, Di! Thank you for the video link as I'd love to see it. I'm just playing for fun this time.
ReplyDeleteEven from my side of the pond the news showed the Queen having tea with Paddington Bear!! That was the best part of the whole Jubilee I think. Sorry I missed tea in the tree-house but I had several cups here in her Majesty's honor. Yes please for the prize too. I used a lot of bigger snippets this time for me.
ReplyDeleteI am looking at my overflowing NBUS box and think it's best if I don't enter the draw for the prize this time but what a beauty it is! So generous of Jackie T. I absolutely love your card Di and will be hopping over to your blog to see how you made it (and Eva wants to know what Dudley has been up to as well!!) Hugs, Vicky xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prompt Sarn - I WAS playing hide and seek and I'm afraid I dozed off in the middle of it all...don't know WHAT was in that hot chocolate I had in the treehouse but my homework has now been handed in!
ReplyDeleteOh wow - love your bright & cheerful card Di!
ReplyDeleteI'm playing just for fun (and snippets mountain reduction) this week.
