Results of Challenge #486

Hello folks - Di here, hopping in with the results from Challenge #486.

Here are my 3 top picks (in entry order):

I totally love these cards, made by Helen. Brilliant use of variously coloured snippets - then embossing the whole panel. AND, making the dear little bears accessorise the background colours - very clever! As always. Helen draws backgrounds and images together so perfectly.

I am in awe of this colourful snippets card, made by Diane H. The die set is a Spellbinders one that is on my wish list and has been for a little while. The work that went into making this is incredible. Certainly would need a long lie down in a darkened room after making this beauty!

And, last but not least - Linda came to play with such a happy and fun card. A jar of honey no less - with flowers and the essential bee of course! Love the vibrant colours - a perfect Summer card.

Tricky once again whittling down the picks - you Playmates are so good at what you do! As always, great inspiration from everyone who entered. Thank you so much for playing along with us.

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Connie

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 7th September by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Challenge #487

Hello Playmates!

It's the start of another fun challenge here in the Snippets Playground and you have until 31st August to get your homework done.

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of a Brushstroke Expressions stamp set by My Favorite Things donated by Di; a Crafter's Companion die set called "Build A House" donated by Linby and a Bee Crafty silhouette border stamp donated by Brenda. Thanks so much to all those contributing towards this lovely prize.

So, come and play! All you have to do is follow our RULES, then bring your homework to the Snippets Playground and enter using Mr Linky (below). Remember to say what snippets you used (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment advising whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 31st August 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Results of Challenge #485

Hello Playmates - Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge #485

Here are my top picks (in entry order):

This summery card was perfect for the fortnight that the challenge ran for, as we were in the middle of a heatwave. Love this colourful, summertime card by GERRINA

Next up is KATHY K's colourful ATC. I simply love the pretty colours, and the whole ATC is made from snippets.

This super embossed and die-cut card was made by CAROL G. I love everything about it.

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

LYNNE

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 24th August 2024 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Challenge #486

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. All the card details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'.

Yup - it's the same as the set of dies I used for my own snippets card shown above - it would have been rude not to buy two in their closing down sale!

These are the items making up the prize: a Crafters Companion stamp called 'Flowers and Buds', kindly donated by Pauline C.  Plus (from me) an unmounted Creative Expressions stamp set called 'Tickets' - as well as the Heffy Doodle set of 'Imperial Storyboard' dies.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 17th August. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,
