Challenge #499

Hello Playmates!

Sarn here, hosting another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight.

My homework is below - using snippets of white card to embellish gift wrapping.

The prize for this challenge consists of an Aall & Create "Party Time Dee" clear stamp set (from me); a very modern red rubber stamp set by CC Designs called "Hashtag Sentiments" (from Di), and a Memory Box die called "Birthday Script" (also from Di).

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or add a photo of them), otherwise it won't count in the prize draw. If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner.

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 15th February 2025. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge.

Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts". In claiming your prize, you accept that any such fees are your responsibility.

Hey Playmates . . . a little heads-up for you . . . our next challenge starts in 2 weeks' time and it will be the 500TH ONE. Obviously we will be celebrating . . . and on that note . . . there will be a CELEBRATION THEME TO FOLLOW. You heard it here first!

All the best from me, Miss Di and Dudley Dog.

  1. Oh boy, it’s a yes please from me! I’m trying to think of ways of entering more than once, maybe set up new fictitious blogs, or just use made up names……..only kidding! …..Obviously I’d be too scared of Miss Di, and I HATE detention!….I’ll be back! Good luck everyone xxx

    1. Ha ha - good job you ARE scared of Miss Di, as she has ways of detecting duplicate blogs and you needn't worry about detention - it leads to expulsion! Just sayin'!!!!! xxx

  2. Di, that's a great idea! I will keep this in my mind when I have to wrap up something. I am just playing for fun this time and made the gnome with red snippets.

  4. Hi Sarn, your packaging is lovely. The white against the craft is so striking. Yes please to be in the draw for the prize. Still have plenty ginger biscuits if the treehouse is running low. Hugz

  6. Brilliant idea for creating your own wrapping paper with those lovely white die cuts! I have so much brown postal wrapping paper from when my daughter was deployed last year and I wrapped all her packages in that. Next time I need to wrap a gift box, I will try to remember this idea! I have oodles of extra die cuts lying around that would be great for this!
