Di here, a new challenge begins today - and finally, Spring really is in the air here in the UK. Hooray!
First of all, here's my own snippets card:
All the details of the above card are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'.
And here's the prize for this coming fortnight:
The prize consists of a set of two heart shaped dies by Craft Addiction from me, one of which I used for my snippets card above from my own set of course! Plus, a Stampendous Cling House Mouse stamp called 'Lily of the Valley' from Brenda and an unbranded flowery embossing folder from Val. Huge thanks ladies for your kind donations!
Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw. If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner.
The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 26th April 2025. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge.
Winners outside the UK - i.e. Europe*: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although we always send them out clearly marked as "gifts". In claiming your prize, you accept that any such fees are your responsibility.
*IMPORTANT: Sadly, we will no longer be sending prizes beyond the UK and Europe. It wasn't an easy decision, but unfortunately, escalating postal costs and additional customs issues have left us with no choice. Of course, everyone is still in with a chance of being a Top Pick.
Love and hugs from me, Sarn and Dudley Dog. xxx
A stunning card Di. It’s sad what’s happening with postage, happy mail is so important 😢. Good luck everyone, see you on the swings, and we can at least enjoy each others creations xxx
ReplyDeleteI seem to be early in the Playground this time - just playing for fun. I agree with Lesley that it is a real shame that postage rates keep on rising because as she says, Happy Mail is VERY important. Enjoy your playtime here xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Di and lovely winnings good luck all l am only playing for fun xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Di. I know I’ve only recently won a lovely Playground prize and I was just going to play for fun this time, but when I saw the wonderful prizes this week, I’d love to be a Yes Please, if that’s okay.
ReplyDeleteLiz xx
Hello Liz, of course you can play for the prize! It's all the luck of the draw - good luck!

I thought I'd plant some flowers round the playhouse to make it pretty. Just playing for Fun this time. CarolG
ReplyDeleteHi Di
ReplyDeleteA great card .. .. super lovely.
Just playing for fun. Postie bought me a very similar heart die this week that is sitting waiting to be christened.
Hope all the "steel" business that is happening at the moment isn't going to increase the price of our dies!!!! Had we better stock up just in case????!!!!!
Love and hugs

Lovely make and YES PLEASE to an entry in the draw

You've made a lovely CASlicious hello card, Di, so great for so many occasions! That butterfly was inspired! Great to be visiting this week in between cleaning and cooking for Easter! I'm bringing eggs ... if I don't get stopped at the border, we will have fun decorating and hiding them in between sips of eggnog! Hugs and thanks to you and Sarn! Darnell
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card using the embedded heart and the pretty butterfly over the top Di. If I get a card in I will be playing for fun this time as I already have the hearts dies. x
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Di, I have a rectangle die waiting to be used with the horizontal lines. Have a wonderful week... enjoy your warmer weather... Megan
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty. I'm just playing for fun this week.
ReplyDeleteDi, your beautiful card inspires me to dig out my butterfly dies and create a few Spring cards. TFS! Also, the postage issue is so very frustrating. I mailed a wedding gift (of handmade cards) last week and almost gagged at the cost. So I totally understand the difficult decision you needed to make about international mailings. That said, I will keep showing up here to say Hello. And to help Sarn with the upkeep on the tree house, the eating of the treats, and the drinking of the cocktails! :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Di using one of my favourite butterfly dies. I'll be in the playground soon and would love a chance to win the prize, please.

Fabulous card Di … very classy. I will just be playing for fun this time thanks xx
ReplyDeleteO wow what a pretty card and what a delicious die - is this is the company that Christine Stokes has been demonstrating of late! Now I have an excuse to drag myself from my sick bed and make something from my mountain of snippets! See you in the playground later! Hugs, Kate!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, Di. I've been seeing lots of people using those dies with the slits like the heart and you've used it very effectively. Just playing for fun and hoping for Cadbury eggs in the tree house.
ReplyDeleteSuper snippets card Di - love the pretty mulitcoloured paper you've layered behind.
ReplyDeleteI'm a 'yes please' for the prize draw this time.

What a beautiful card! I absolutely love the soft colors and the delicate details like the butterfly and the heart cut out. It's so elegant and cheerful, perfect for brightening someone's day. And yes, count me in for the amazing prize!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful card, Di! I'm just playing for fun this time.
ReplyDeleteGreat card!
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the postage! I get it.
Just gonna hang out in the treehouse. See if there's any candy left!
Love your beautiful card, Diane!
