Challenge #481

Hello and welcome to another fun Snippets Playground challenge.

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The items making up the prize for this challenge are 2 sets of bird stamps; a fab pair of bold birthday sentiments; plus a lovely 5¾" x 5¾ "gatefold embossing folder - contributed by Di, Lesley G & Jackie T. My thanks to you all for contributing to this lovely prize.

So come and play! All you have to do is follow our RULES, then bring your homework to the Snippets Playground and enter using Mr Linky (below). Remember to say what snippets you used (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment advising whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 8th June 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Results of Challenge #479

Hello Playmates - Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge 479.

Here are my top picks (in entry order) - all of which happen to be fancy fold cards:

Liz came to play with this super shaped card. Great design and lovely papers and decoration - very neatly done.

Next up is Ionabunny's fabulous pirate themed 'never-ending' card - check out her blog to see all its various fold layouts.

Last, but not least, is Glennis F's special 'birthday fold' card for her granddaughter's 18th birthday. I love how it has enough folds to spell out the word "birthday".

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Katrina Bufton

Congratulations Katrina. Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 1st June 2024 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Di's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Challenge #480

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. All the details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'

These are the items making up the prize, all from yours truly. The items included are a NBUS Altenew set of stamps and a matching set of dies, both called 'Stellar'. The big square stamp is a background stamp of pinprick stars. There is also a great set of sentiment stamps by Funky Fossil called 'Making Memories'. I used my own set for the first time on my snippets card for today.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 25th May. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,

Results of Challenge #478

Hello folks - hopping in with the results from Challenge #478.

Here are my 3 top picks (in entry order):

Marjeta entered this lovely card. So beautifully coloured and I love how the background of snippet strips picks up the colours in the image - or the other way round of course!

Sue made a brilliant 40th Birthday card for her son. I think it's a great use of a few snippets for maximum impact - and a design I hope to CASE, particularly for male cards!

And, once again, Lynne R has been super-busy! One of the great things about keeping little different coloured snippets is the choice at your fingertips for tiny die cut images like Lynne's fabulous Christmas Village!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Donna T

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 18th May by sending your name and address details via email using Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Sarn's current challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Hugs, Di and Dudley, xxx
