Challenge #511

Hello Playmates!

Sarn here, hosting another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight.

We took the opportunity to empty out the paddling pool water, clean it, and refill it before the hosepipe ban came into effect. (Phew! Close one!). The Tuck Shop is doing a roaring trade in ice creams and lollies, and everyone seems to be having a good time!

Details of the card below can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of a useful set of nesting dies by Love to Craft (donated anonymously) and two small stamp sets from me.

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or you can add a photo of them if you wish). If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner.

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 2nd August 2025. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge.

Sadly, due to escalating postage costs and additional customs issues, we are now only posting prizes to the UK and EUROPE. If you live outside the UK, please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although we always send them out clearly marked as "gifts". In claiming your prize, you accept that any such fees are your responsibility.

Happy crafting,

Love from Sarn, plus a whistle from Miss Di and paw wave from Dudley Dog! xxx

Results of Challenge #508

Hello Everyone!

It's Di here - popping back in the middle of Sarn's challenge - to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge #508.

Here are my top picks (in entry order)

This is such a cute Baby card, made by Lynne, a lovely way to use up lots of snippets. All the tiny details as well - love it!

Next was Lynn (Linby) waving a gorgeous scenic card - very clever tweaking/use of a favourite die set (the girl is usually sitting on a beach or by the sea in a swimsuit and wearing a sunhat)!

And, last but not least, Kathy A came to the Playground waving a Dudley Dog on a card! Plenty of snippets to create the fun background as well so it wasn't just the pooch that made this great card a pick

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE

The randomly picked winner is:

Lynn (Linby)

Only a handful of people were playing for the prize so I imagined it taking ages to find someone who had said 'Yes please'. Ha, only the third run of the random number generator and out popped a 'yes' ........ Linby! Double whammy this time gal as you're also a 'pick'! And, extra useful dies for your role on the ATCs and Tags challenge team as well.

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 12th July 2025 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Sarn's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Challenge #509

Hello Playmates!

Sarn here, hosting another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight.

WOW - it's been a hot and sunny one in the UK this week. Dudley has been going round the Playground with a bottle of sun tan lotion tied to his collar in order to keep Playmates safe in the sun. Between us, Miss Di and I blew up the paddling pool and moved it to the bottom of the slide before filling it with water. There has been a lot of shrieking and squealing as we slide down and land in the water! GREAT FUN!

Up in the Treehouse Tuck Shop, we've been doing a roaring trade in lollies, ice cream and sun hats. It's all go!

Between my tuck shop duties, I managed to get some homework done! Details of the little wallets pictured below can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of three lovely and very useful stamp sets. The Woodware Clear Magic "Cone Flower" set was kindly donated by Di. The Hunkydory "Anemone" set was kindly donated by Viv, and the Uniko "Wonky Stripes" background stamp was kindly donated by Sue Morris. My thanks to all those contributing towards this lovely prize.

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or you can add a photo of them if you wish). If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner.

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 5th July 2025. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge.

Please note that we are now only posting prizes to the UK and EUROPE. If you live outside the UK, please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although we always send them out clearly marked as gifts. In claiming your prize, you accept that any such fees are your responsibility.

Happy crafting,

Love from Sarn, Miss Di and Dudley Dog xxx

Results of Challenge #506

Hello Everyone!

It's Di here - popping back in the middle of Sarn's challenge - to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge #506.

Here are my top picks (in entry order)

I must start by saying that our ⭐Gold Star⭐ entries are rare and quite an accolade - Sarn and I both immediately fell in love with THIS entry:

Well done Pinky, this is such a work of art and truly adorable! Your lovely little video is so worth watching too. For both of us, it's a joint decision that you are worthy of a ⭐Gold Star⭐ - please feel free to collect your ⭐Gold Star⭐ badge from HERE

Our very regular Playmate is Val. This delightful scene is brilliant, somehow Val has such a knack with making adorable, very lifelike scenes - and using plenty of snippets along the way! Love it!

Almost at the end of the entries, Tina popped up with this beautifu Nativity scene card - so rich and really gorgeous.

Funny how your tentative choices of picks can suddenly be thrown up in the air. In hopped Valerija right at the very end, with a card I just had to include! Interesting that my two final picks are mostly black and gold!?

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE

The randomly picked winner is:

Marjeta

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 14th June 2025 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Sarn's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

All the best from Di, Sarn and Dudley Dog! He's been in disgrace this week, talk about showing up your 'hoomans' - BIG time, sigh.

Challenge #507

Hello Playmates!

Sarn here, hosting another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight.

The usual suspects have been loitering at the back of the bike sheds, supping my homemade "lemonade" and scoffing ice creams bought from the Tuck Shop. We had scouts out to alert us to Miss Di and Dudley's presence so we had time to pack up and scarper!

Details of this card can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of Aall & Create products: "Le Parfum" stamp set #841 kindly donated by Pauline C (thank you); "Wildflower" stamp set #565 and "Cloister Grille" stencil #78 both from me.

I am lucky enough to have all these products in my own craft stash and have made a few cards with them which you can see HEREHERE and HERE, and the stencilling on the second card in THIS post. Hope this gives you a few ideas for using the items in this lovely prize.

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or you can add a photo of them if you wish).

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 7th June 2025.

Love from Sarn, Miss Di and Dudley Dog xxx
