Challenge #526

Welcome to another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight, where Dudley and I will be hosting you. Here’s my Valentine's Day snippets card:

Details can be found at Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE, along with the latest news of Dudley.

Here's the three-part prize bundle for this challenge:

It consists of: a long slim die by Stampendous, called 'Slim Agapanthus', which will cover the whole, of a DL/slimline card. Also a Sugar Pea set of stamps called 'Color of Life' (perfect for card making and also journaling) - plus an embossing folder from Amazon by Arriettycraft called 'Hearts', from China. All items are from me ............ and my own identical embossing folder is featured on my snippets card shown above.

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or you can add a photo of them if you wish). If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner. Also, do check out Rule 11 HERE for more information about prizes, if you're unsure.

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 28th February, 2026. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge.

Happy crafting,

Love from Di, Sarn and Dudley Dog xxx

Results of Challenge #524

Hello Everyone!

Di here - popping back in the middle of Sarn's challenge - to reveal my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge #524.

Here are my top picks (in entry order), and it was such a tough choice once again.  I had a long 'final' list of likely picks (8 in total) but managed to whittle it down to three by going to and fro looking to find innovative ways of using snippets - you girls didn't make it easy this time round:

First pick is Gail's marvellous 'Year of the Fire Horse' card. What a stunning bonfire photo she built her glorious snippets design around! The rearing horse die cut pulls it all together perfectly for Chinese New Year. There are even little touches such as the round coin shapes for prosperity as well:

Then we have Jeanne with a CAS card, entirely constructed from snippets. I adore the clean look of this card, mainly in shades of blue, plus white, aided by a couple of punches, a die and a 'must have' embossing folder! Psst: Jeanne's camera reverted to 2008 as we entered 2026 in case anyone is wondering!

Finally, Donna T, popped up with a card, that I know from the comments was as loved by our Sarn as by me! Who doesn't smile at a cheeky line-up of penguins? It's adorable and such a lovely design, using white snippets, dies, Copics and pencils:

I still feel sad that I had to choose just three picks as every entry was worthy of praise.  You all truly rock!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Eemeli

Eemeli has returned to blogging after a busy two-year or so break - so it was nice to see her name pop out as extra encouragement for her to pick up crafting again. Don't be a stranger - we're still all mad as a box of frogs!

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 21st February 2026 by sending your name and address details, via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Sarn's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details. Nice prize to be won!

Love from myself, Sarn and Dudley Dog.
