Results of Challenge #523

Hello Playmates!

Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge - to reveal my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge #523.

Here are my top picks in entry order:

The fabulous masculine card below, made by DEANNE, really appealed to me. Great snippets and super composition.

I simply loved the quirky new home card below, made by CAROL G. The background die cut combined with inking, subtle stars and paper piecing work so well together. The geese just make me quack up!

And how about the fab snowman card below that HEATHER is going to give to her husband for Valentine’s Day! Now that’s a novel idea!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Congrats Val. Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 7th February 2026 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Di's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

All the best from Sarn, Miss Di and Dudley Dog.

Challenge #524

Welcome to another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight, where Dudley and I will be hosting you. Here’s my snippets card:

Details can be found at Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE, along with the latest news of Dudley.

Here's the three-part prize bundle for this challenge:

It consists of: a Sheena Douglass 'What a Mesh' die from Val, a John Next Door set of 'Camellia' dies from Brenda - plus a Woodware set of stamps called 'Postage Stamp Greetings' from me. The stamps are ideal for use as 'normal' sentiments but were designed with the popular 'postage stamp' dies in mind. Many thanks to Val and Brenda for their kind donations!

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or you can add a photo of them if you wish). If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner. Also, do check out Rule 11 HERE for more information about prizes, if you're unsure.

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 31st January, 2026. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Sarn sends her apologies for having to send you all home and close the Playground gates earlier than usual due to the school boiler breaking down. Once I got my spanner out and fixed the problem, we reopened!

Happy crafting,

Love from Di, Sarn and Dudley Dog xxx

Results of Challenge #522

Hello Everyone - Happy 2026!

Here are my top picks for Challenge #522 (in entry order):

It's always lovely to see a Playground prize being used by its winner and Marjeta made this delightful card using a Bunny stamp she won. It's really beautiful!

Brenda produced a showstopper with her glorious floral entry, shown below. Wonderful use of snippets and I adore the vibrant colours as well as the slatted circle behind the white layer!

And my final pick was made by Susan B. What a card! And what a labour of love to punch out all those different shades of green pine snippets to create such a gorgeous Christmas wreath - I really love it!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winners of four December mystery prize bundles, in the order they were drawn, are:

Helen (11); Tina (20); Val (4) & Kath (18)

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 24th January 2026 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Sarn's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

And finally, somehow this year's Blogaversary skipped past us on 8th January - 14 years since I took over from Jules AND coming up to four years since the launch of the New Snippets Playground, where the sun always shines! Glad to know it's shining somewhere!!

Love from Di, Sarn and Dudley!

Challenge #523

Hello Playmates!

Sarn here, hosting another fun Snippets Playground Challenge for the next fortnight. There was a small New Year Celebration up in the Treehouse . . . but we kept the noise down and managed not to have the Fire Brigade called out . . . so all was well! Hic! The Christmas decorations have come down and the Christmas tree has been put out for recycling!

Details of the card below can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of 3 stamp sets: an A5 set by Creative Expressions called "Inspiring Edges", an A6 set by Visible Image called "Wings of Change" and a sweet little arty StudioLight clear stamp set.

My thanks to Lesley G for contributing towards this lovely prize.

Please be sure to state what snippets you used on your entry (or you can add a photo of them if you wish). If it is not clear what snippets have been used in an entrant's blog post, the entry will automatically be excluded from being a Top Pick or a prize winner.

The Playground gates will close on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 17th January 2026. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge.

Happy New Year Playmates . . . and happy snippeting in 2026.

Love from Sarn, Miss Di and Dudley Dog xxx
