Challenge #474

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. My Valentine's Day card, above, was made for Len of course! All the details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'.

There are four items making up the prize this time, all myself.  By Aall & Create there's one single stamp called 'Scripted Hearts' plus a set of stamps called 'Spread A Little Happiness'. A Memory Box die called 'Picture Perfect Flower' plus a set of Gummiapan 'Double Stitch Squares'.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 2nd March 2024. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,

Results of Challenge #472

Hello Playmates - I'm standing in for Di who is on leave while she takes care of Len, ably assisted by Dudley of course! I'm sure you will join me in wishing Len well, and sending Di our love ♥️ (because we all know what good patients men make!) 😂

Here are my 3 top picks (in entry order) - which were whittled down from 10 in the first instance!

I absolutely adored the bunny card that CAROL L submitted as her homework. The whole card is made from snippets too!

GUNDI made this cute bear card from all sorts of paper snippets and I just couldn't resist it. The flowers are gorgeous.

I always find masculine cards more difficult to make, but KATE L has made it look effortless with this brilliant one for her husband, using some Gummiapan dies:

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Denise (The Crafty Den)

Denise is new to the Snippets Playground  - so congrats on being a winner first time round! Please claim your prize by 24th February 2024 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Remember there's still nearly a week of the current challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Challenge #473

Hello Playmates!

It's the start of another fun challenge here in the Snippets Playground. You have until 17th February 2024 to get your homework done and Di doesn't want to hear any excuses about your dog eating it either!

Like the good Prefect that I am (ahem!😊), my homework is done, and you can find all the details of this butterfly card HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of a lovely Crafter's Companion 3D embossing folder called Simply Sweet; a beautiful Papercuts set of 4 dies called Entwined Heart (well, it IS nearly Valentine's Day); a useful set of XCut tags and label dies, as well as an unmounted set of butterfly stamps by Sheena Douglas.

My thanks to Val and Di for donating these lovely items.

So now it's your turn. Bring your snippets homework to the Playground and use Mr Linky (below) to submit it for marking! Please remember to SAY WHAT SNIPPETS YOU USED (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment making it clear whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 17th February 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Hugs from Sarn xxx
