Results of Challenge #484

Hello folks - Di here, hopping in with the results from Challenge #484.

Here are my 3 top picks (in entry order):

Really intricate and pretty floral pop up box card from Pauline C. They really are fun to make, fantastic snippets busters and are always sensational! What a joy to receive this!

Emma T always brings beautiful work to share and this snippets 'Hollyhocks' card really is gorgeous.  SO much vibrant teeny, tiny detailed work - amazing!

Sharon skipped in, almost apologetically, with her snippets card - my comment to her on her blog says that it's exactly what I look for in an entry. Something to stimulate and encourage us to CASE and use up our snippets!

As always, great inspiration from all of the 'picks', as well as everyone else. Thank you so much for playing along with us during Dudley's Birthday week. He sends you all his love and happy tail wags for your very sweet wishes. x

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

Lesley G

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 10th August by sending your name and address details via email using Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Challenge #485

Hello Playmates!

It's the start of another fun challenge here in the Snippets Playground and you have until 3rd August to get your homework done. It's Dudley the Playground Pup's birthday tomorrow, so I made him a card! Yes, I know Dudley is too young to read it just yet, but his Mama will read it out to him! You don't have to be crazy to come here, but it helps!!!!

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog HERE:

In honour of Dudley's birthday, the prize is dog themed! The stamp set is from Di and the stencil and dies are from yours truly!

So why not come and play? All you have to do is follow our RULES, then bring your homework to the Snippets Playground and enter using Mr Linky (below). Remember to say what snippets you used (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment advising whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 3rd August 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Hugs from Sarn xxx

Results of Challenge #483

Hello Playmates - Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge 483.

Here are my top picks (in entry order):

CAROL submitted a gorgeous new baby card using up a treasured crocheted medallion made by a friend of hers. The embossed background, focal point and sentiment with the sweet love hearts and ribbon are all just so darn cute!

BRENDA submitted a very artistic card for her homework. There is lots to admire, including some lovely coneflowers popping out of welly boots, a stencilled background and some clever masking that looks like a piece of Washi tape!

HEATHER'S homework is a cute birthday card full of farmyard animals. Great die cutting and colouring.

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is No 22:

Please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 27th July by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Di's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Challenge #484

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. All the card details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'.

These are the items, all from me,  making up the prize: Crafty Roo's 'One of a kind corner' stamp set, the sideways sentiment says 'Let your dreams be your wings' - and it is a large size BTW. A Heffy Doodle pair of shadow dies called 'Create''. A Poppy Stamps die called 'Cat Collage' and finally, a fun set of stamps by 'Your Next Stamp' called 'Hoot's Up'. Bit of a selection there folks!

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 20th July. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,
