Results of challenge #447

Hello Playmates - Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge 447.

Here are my Top Picks (in entry order):

Our Viv made this GORGEOUS CAS white-on-white card (below). Love the composition.

The lovely Vicky made this FABULOUS Springtime birthday card full of daffodils. I love how the neutral background makes the yellow blooms seem even brighter.

Kate made the show-stopping card below for her choir leader. I think you'll agree it's a stunner.

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your Top Pick badge from HERE.

I'm delighted to announce the prize winner for the previous challenge is No. 16.
Irene is a newbie to the Snippets Playground . . . so please give her a warm welcome and hopefully she will come back and play again!

Congratulations Irene. Please claim your prize by sending me an email using the Snippets Playground address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line. Please ensure you add your full name and address so that it can be copied and pasted for speed and ease.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Di's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Challenge #448

A new challenge and here's my snippets card:

All the details, with Dudley's latest news, are over on Pixies - HERE.

The prize for this fortnight is a bit cute and quirky:

It's an unbranded dandelion 'clock' embossing folder, a Whimsy 'Can You Be-Leaf This Rain' stamp (shame they didn't actually add that in as a sentiment stamp as it's so appropriate for the image) and set of stamps by Your Next Stamp called 'Bugs and Kisses' - all from the Snippets Toy Box.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday, 4th March. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please remember to either state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Winners outside the UK: please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although we both always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,

Results of Challenge #446

Right folks, let's get straight onto the three top picks for Challenge #446, in numerical order:

Such a lovely card, made by Eemeli! A perfect vintage image,it reminds me of the Christmas card images of my own childhood in Germany where the horse in particular is very traditional transport for St. Nicholas as I recall. Love how setting it at a jaunty angle with other angled snippets works so well.

This card which Steph brought to share with us is stunning. Great use of snippets, such a pleasing design as well. The lettering is fabulous! I did make Sarn chuckle - I said to her that I wondered how many sets of dies Steph had in order to use so many different fonts! Ha, the asses ears went up when Sarn told me that it's actually one set of dies, made by Funky Fossil. A clever idea as well to punch out the little dots from card - fooled me, just like the alphabet dies did!

And last but by no means least, 'Papierelle' (Gundi) came to play, waving this gorgeous snippets card. It's absolutely divine - and even more so if you hop over to her blog and see how those fabulous flowers were made. Now that is dedication to some very careful fine cutting. Super work!

We had so many fabulous entries once again - it gets harder to choose as the challenges go on.

The randomly drawn winner of the set of sentiment stamps and a pair of 'peony' dies is:
 Pat

To claim your prize, please send an email using the Snippets Playground email address shown on the RH sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER (or similar) in the subject line. Please add your FULL NAME above your home ADDRESS so that I can copy and paste it for speed and ease.

The current snippets challenge is being hosted by Sarn and still has almost a further week to run - just scroll down to the previous post to find it. There's a nice prize to be won as well!

Love from Di and Dudley

Challenge #447

Hello Playmates!

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this fortnight is:

The two dies (left and centre) were kindly donated by Jackie T. It's a bit hard to determine, but the middle die says "Hugs" with an outline die to go behind the word. Brenda kindly donated the "Happy Everything" clear stamp on the right hand side.

Please bring your snippets homework to the Playground and use Mr Linky (below) to submit it for marking! Remember to SAY WHAT SNIPPETS YOU USED (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment saying YES PLEASE (or similar) if you want to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 18th Feb 2023. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".
