Challenge #479

Hello and welcome to another fun challenge here in the Snippets Playground. I'm hosting for the next fortnight so you have until 11th May 2024 to get your homework done.

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog. I've showcased one of the stamp sets you could win (using my own set of the same stamps!)

The prize for this challenge comprises two AALL & Create stamp sets from me, and a lovely Crafts Too embossing folder from Di. I've checked, and both main images from the stamps sets shown below will fit inside the embossing folder's rectangle.

So now it's your turn. Bring your snippets homework to the Playground and use Mr Linky (below) to submit it for marking! Please remember to SAY WHAT SNIPPETS YOU USED (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment making it clear whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 11th May 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Results of Challenge #477

Hello Playmates - Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and let you know who won the prize for Challenge 477.

Di and I were in total agreement that KATE L'S fabulous sewing card full of tiny snippets in multiple layers (shown below) merited a GOLD STAR AWARD. Well done Kate - the card has so many intricate details and the little sewing room scene stole our hearts. You are welcome to collect your Gold Star badge of honour from HERE.

. . . and here are my other top picks (in entry order):

First up is SANDRA H's lovely monochrome birthday card for a special birthday. Love all the little elements to it.

Next up is DENISE'S wonderful shaker card in a fabulous coffee cup shape. Love the punny sentiment too!

And finally, I chose CAROL G's super Earth Day card using the three R's (reduce, reuse, recycle). Love the different textures and effects on this card, as well as what it represents.

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

Next, we have the prize winner for Challenge 477, picked using a random number generator, which selected the number 10:

Denise - Crafty Den

Many congratulations Denise - you have a double whammy - being a top pick AND the prize winner! Go buy a lottery ticket! Please claim your prize by 4th May 2024 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Di's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Challenge #478

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. My snippets card this time is also linked to part of the prize bundle for this challenge. All the details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'

There are three items making up the prize, all from yours truly - and I did use my own set of identical butterfly dies for my snippets card! The items included are a Creative Expressions 'Blowing Bubbles' stamp, a Poppystamps die set called 'For You Poe Script' and a Sizzix set of dies called 'Detailed Butterflies Mini'.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 27th April 2024. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,
