Challenge #489

Hello Playmates!

It's the start of another fun challenge in the Snippets Playground today.

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of the "Sweet Besties" stamp set by My Favorite Things (kindly donated by Lynne R), the "Decorative Cat" stamp set by Woodware (kindly donated by Brenda) and the "Notre Dame" stencil by Heffy Doodle is from me!

My thanks to Lynne and Brenda for contributing towards this lovely prize.

So come and play! All you have to do is follow our RULES, then bring your homework to the Snippets Playground and enter using Mr Linky (below).

Remember to say what snippets you used (or include a photo of them) and please leave a comment advising whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize. Any entrant not leaving a comment to the contrary is deemed to be playing for fun and will be excluded from the prize draw.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 28th September 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Results of Challenge #487

Hello Playmates - I'm popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge 487.

Here are my top picks (in entry order):

First up is Greta's lovely yellow floral friendship card. Greta is not a fan of bees, so she hid them behind the flowers!

Next is Eve's lovely collage creation. There's so much to look at with all those lovely details:

And, finally, Pat's wonderful Christmas card using her paper snippets with a new die she bought at a bargain price!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is:

HELEN

Congrats Helen - please claim your prize by 11am UK time on 21st September 2024 by sending your name and address details via email using the Snippets Playground email address shown in the sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line.

Remember there's still nearly a week of Di's challenge to go. If you haven't submitted a piece of homework yet, just scroll down to the previous post to find all the details.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Challenge #488

I

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. All the card details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'.

These are the items making up the prize: a nicely matched pairing donated by Pat, comprising an IO 'leopard' silhouette stamp and an Inkylicious stencil depicting the markings on said animal's coat. Also, a Memory Box die, loved ages ago by so many of us called 'Prim Poppy' (I found that in an online shop's closing down sale fairly recently). And finally, from our Lynn (Linby) we have a pretty Crafters Companion 7-piece stamp set called 'Best Wishes'. Many thanks to Pat and Lynn for their generosity!

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 14th September. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,
