Here's another fresh challenge for you - I'm still on the 'Christmas card roll' for now and this is my Snippets card for today. Super CAS and pretty simple to make as well - but tricky to try and capture the 3D embossing in a photo:
All the details of how I made it are over on Pixie's HERE- as well as Dudley's latest 'adventures'. Think grooming and you're already on the way!
The prize for this fortnight is shown below:
The prize bundle this time is: a Woodware 'Butterflies' set of stamps, kindly donated by Val and a Crafters Companion 10-piece set of 'Flying by to say Hi' stamps (with matching dies for the flying geese) kindly donated by Linby. Plus, from me, a set of HOTP 'Falling Leaves' embossing folder and a 2-piece leaf die set - just in time for Autumn!
As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 14 October. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.
Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw. Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays nicely and fairly.
Winners outside the UK: please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".
Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,

ReplyDeleteWow, it's really a Super CAS!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for another challenge! See you later for my homework!
Hello everyone. Happy October. Love your beautiful embossed white beauty Di. It looks awesome. Must look at my scenic embossing folders again. I would love to be in the draw for the prize, once I get a snippets make made. Take care. Hugz
ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant slimline Christmas card! I love the look of white for Christmas, and that embossed scene is so pretty! I have oodles of embossing folders and really need to play with them more! I just saw a technique for swiping a gold ink pad over a 3D embossed panel to add some metallic accents to the highest parts of the panel, and it was stunning! The prizes are beautiful, and I'd love a chance in the draw.
ReplyDeleteFAB make (love white on white) and prizes but I'm just playing for fun this time aroudn
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday
Kathyk

ReplyDeleteA beautiful snippets card and such a pretty wintry scene EF Di and some great prizes on offer with thanks to Val and Linby for their gifts to the toy box along with your lovely folder and dies, but if I get a card in will just be playing for fun this time. x
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card and one of my fav techniques, but as you say hard to photo. I'm just playing for fun!
ReplyDeleteThe white on white embossing looks so elegant and peaceful too! What an absolutely lovely Christmas scene you've created. I usually play just for fun but those autumn leaves are calling to me, so it's a yes please for me this time around.
ReplyDeleteHomework done! :) Yes please for the rich beautiful prize(s)
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Leafy homework this time - just playing for fun
ReplyDeleteI love Clean & Simple and your card looks so beautiful and elegant.
ReplyDeleteEverytime when I try to make something like this, I get the feeling mine looks too empty and end up adding too much to it to still be considered a CAS.
Playing just for fun this time.
Sending you lots of hugs,
Renata
That embossingfolder is awesome! What a lovely result it makes! And I say yes to the great prize!
ReplyDeleteLia xx

DeleteSuch a lovely Christmas card Di and I'm making a note because it also looks perfect for batch making! I can't resist entering for the fabulous prize draw this fortnight so it's a Yes Please from me! Hugs, Vicky xx
ReplyDeleteJust playing for fun……scooting by to say Hi ! Xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm in please. I haven't been around in so long. Hope I haven't forgotten anything. I so coveted Carol G's card from the last fortnight. I told her so too. Di, your 3D embossing is just beautiful. I agree about capturing it on camera. It's kinda like capturing gold or silver glossy. Ha Ha on that.
ReplyDeleteLove your card Di, but am not quite ready to make Christmas cards yet. Yes, please enter me in the draw. I love Fall.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the embosing. Yes please to the amazing price.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful, peaceful card, loving the CAS design. Yes please for the great price.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!! The pure white embossed image nails the look of a snowy, winter day! The pop of red matting the gray from the sentiment are just perfect to add to that look! I really, really, really would like the leaves part of the prize, but the other part doesn't interest me at this time, so I am playing just for fun this time around, thanks!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Di - the embossing looks fab!
ReplyDeleteI'm playing just for fun this time.

Hello, Di! I am back to blogging this month, so of course I wanted to join the playground! I just linked up my card! I'm definitely a YES for that fabulous and very generous prize, thank you! Your card is elegant and beautiful! I love your gorgeous embossing folder! Well done for getting Christmas cards made; I'm doing the same this month! Sending hugs and best wishes!
ReplyDeleteLove the elegant Christmas card! And also say yes to the dress... um... I mean prize packet if my name is drawn! Lastly, I accidentally entered twice (I am so very tech impaired!) So, please delete my Entry #32. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love your CAS Christmas card, so beautiful, wow.
ReplyDeleteYes for the prize, please and have a great weekend.
