Challenge #483

Hello Playmates!

It's the start of another fun challenge here in the Snippets Playground and you have until 6th July to get your homework done.

Here's my homework, the details of which can be found on my personal blog HERE:

The prize for this challenge consists of 2 floral stamps sets by Stampin' Unicorn and one 3D embossing folder plus matching stencils by Crafter's Companion.

My thanks to Pauline C and Val (Aquarius) for contributing the items in this lovely prize.

So come and play! All you have to do is follow our RULES, then bring your homework to the Snippets Playground and enter using Mr Linky (below). Remember to say what snippets you used (or include a photo of them) and leave a comment advising whether you're just playing for fun or wish to be included in the draw for the prize.

The Playground gates will clang shut on this challenge at 11am (UK time) on Saturday, 6th July 2024. They'll reopen at midnight (UK time) the same day for the start of the next challenge. Winners outside the UK: Please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Di and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Hello Playmates - Sarn here - popping back in the middle of Di's challenge, to share my Top Picks and the prize winner for Challenge 481.

Here are my top picks in entry order:

I loved all the tags KT Fit Kitty made. So many snippets used and a lovely vintage feel to them.

Next up is Diane H with her gorgeous group of jungle animals on her fun card. So sweet!

And last, but not least, is Trijntje's lovely floral card. Pretty elements put together in very pleasing composition. Fab!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.

The randomly picked winner is No. 27:

LIZ

Challenge #482

Welcome to a new challenge in the Snippets Playground. All the card details are over on Pixie's Crafty Workshop HERE - as well as Dudley's latest 'Pupdate'.

These are the items making up the prize: two Stampendous stamp sets, namely, 'Wildflowers' and 'Bee Kind' ...... plus a stencil by AALL & Create called ''Bug Hotel'. Great for a touch of 'bokeh' background work! All items are from yours truly.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 22nd June. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Please state what snippets you used on your entry, or add a photo of them, otherwise it won't count in the prize draw.

Remember that we do reserve the right to delete non-compliant entries. It's very important to us to keep the Playground as a happy place to come and play - as well as making sure everyone plays fairly.

Winners outside the UK please remember that you may be charged fees and import duty on your prize - although Sarn and I always send them out clearly marked as "gifts".

If any of you are having trouble commenting, please see HERE for a possible solution.

Love and hugs from Di and Dudley,

Results of Challenge #480

Hello folks - hopping in with the results from Challenge #480.

Here are my 3 top picks (in entry order):

What a crisp and fresh die cut kite on a perfect cloudy sky background - made by Steph. Everything about this beautifully designed card is so pleasing on the eye. Lovely work!

I love herringbone design for using up snippets. Taking them one step further by then dry embossing the panel so that is appears to be quilted is such a terrific idea Alison - well done!

And last, but certainly not least, we have Carol G's entry with a gorgeous bunch of tulips taking centre stage. Lovely stencilled background too, a perfect way to show off the vivid flowers beautifully.

As always, it was so hard to choose just three picks. Sarn and I always love all of your work and it's so heartwarming to see you playing along with us. Thanks to all of you Playmates!

If you've been showcased, please feel free to collect your 'Top Pick' badge from HERE.
