Challenge #436

Well folks, looks as if Sarn needs to be thinking about her Autumn menu in the Playground - we're not there yet but I reckon cooler weather is lurking round the corner. Anyone for hot chocolate - perhaps with a little nip of something added? ☺

Straight onto my snippets card:

All the details, as well as Dudley's latest news, are over on Pixies - HERE.

The prize for this fortnight is:

Pink Ink Designs - Crazy Birds - Buy 1 A5 stamp and get a Dinky Pinky

A Pink Ink Designs 'Crazy Birds' set of eight stamps. The second image (borrowed from Pink Ink's website) shows the stamps that make up the set. I love the leg bandage! I'm almost sure I spotted one of our Playmates using this set a little while ago and thought that it would make a fun prize.

As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 17th September. The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Love and hugs from Dudley and Di,

NB - Sorry but Sarn and I have cut this challenge short, to show our respect during the period of mourning following the loss of our late and much loved Queen. More details are in the latest/newest post on The Snippets Playground - click on HOME.

  1. A beauty of a card to get us started Di - yes, hot chocolate with a wee nip sounds wonderful - even if we are going into spring here :)

  9. What a delightful card you've made with your snippets, and what a great prize too! I'd love to be in the draw for those fun bird stamps! Soon I'll be ready for some hot mulled cider as we welcome fall once again, but it's still too hot here for hot chocolate!

    1. Hmm, Mulled Cider eh? Please come round the back of the bike sheds (where the usual suspects are skulking) and we'll try it out if you sneak some inside your satchel!

  13. Your card is so pretty and I love your inlaid flower. I rarely have the patience to inlay dies but always like the resulting look. Yes please to this fun and quirky stamp prize. That ostrich has me laughing. Off to see how you put your card together and to hear about Dudley's latest news. it's supposed to hit 113 degrees tomorrow so I think I'll be sticking close to home and the a/c

  18. Oooh, I long for the days of a hot toddy! When the temps hit 116, I didn't even want booze in anything. I know, brings a tear to the eye, doesn't it? I'm happy to pop in and enjoy those first hints of fall and the cooler temps, but make mine a Long Island Iced Tea, won't you, Sarn? Thank you, mwah! Playing for fun and inspiration! Loving Di's card! Hugs, Darnell

  19. I was going to come back and say that I would like to be entered for the prize but was busy and forgot and so don't know if you can include me now as you closed it early for the best of reasons of course after the sad passing of our wonderful queen, and I would have had more time to come back and do so in normal circumstances. I quite understand if you don't feel it is possible. x
