Hello Snippets Playmates - Sarn here!
I've polished my Prefect's Badge and put my shoes on the correct feet for a change! Even managed to tie-up my own shoe laces (I'm coming along in leaps and bounds!).
As mentioned in the previous Challenge post - Di and I have joined forces, and, from now on, we'll be playing tag, taking it in turns to host the fortnightly challenges here in the Snippets Playground.
I'll still be getting up to all sorts of mischief in the treehouse, or behind the back of the bike sheds. The change means that Di will be able to put her feet up and relax in one of the nice comfy chairs in the Treehouse, while sipping a "Sarn Special" Mojito! No doubt she'll be sporting a cocktail umbrella in her hair while Playground Pup, Dudley, will be curled around her feet, keeping a watchful eye on us all!
So then, for my first official piece of homework, I went to town and emptied out a small drawer of snippets to make as many cards as I could. See below:
Di and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone for all their support and congratulations on our new partnership. Let the mischief
begin carry on!
Just before you run off to make a snippets card - you might want to skip over to fellow playmate Sue, of Zouave Cards. She is having a craft room clear-out and is giving away two lovely bundles of Little Claire stamps. If you live in the UK, all you have to do is leave a comment on her blog post here.
As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday, 16th April. The gates will re-open at midnight UK time on the same day. Mr Linky is below this post.

Yay, Sarn! You did an awesome job on all of your snippets cards! How amazing to make so many! Doesn't it feel great to use up all of those scraps?! I just linked up my snippets card so I'm ready for my Mojito - it sounds like a lot of fun, and I'm ready for some fun! The prize looks amazing, so I'm a YES, PLEASE! Thank you to Sandma for your generosity!ReplyDelete

Wow, wow, wow!! What a fabulous collection of cards made from your scrap bin! It's so great when pieces come together and you can make a card without a lot of effort (in your case, a whole bunch of cards!) I'm playing just for fun this time, thanks!ReplyDelete
Great selection of cards for ideas. YES please for the draw this time - thanksReplyDelete
You've been quite busy Sarn, and you're well on your way to having a nice Christmas stash at the end of the year! Congrats for taking the reins for the challenge this time around and for keeping us all encouraged to join in! Bottoms up to the Bailey's coffee being served in the treehouse too! Playing just for fun this week but take good care!ReplyDelete
Great job on using all those snippets on lots of wonderful cards! I think I could make about 1,000 cards with all my extra/unused die cuts. Maybe more. No joke! LOL And welcome to the playground 'officially!'. :-) Yes, please for the awesome prize (this bird nerd spies a birdie...).ReplyDelete
Sorry Becca, I am unable to comment on your entry as I am not part of Flickr, but thank you so much for entering some snippets homework to the Playground. Come up to the Treehouse for fun and a Sarn Special Mojito later! xxxDelete
What a wonderful idea for your both to take it in turns to hold this challenge it gives Miss Di a well earned rest.
Now I havn't been entering lately as I was a very bad blogger and only doing my DT work but I promised myself to do more this year.
I just find it hard to juggle everything myself now I am on my own.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
PS Fancy a Gin and Tonic behind the bike shed.
Forgot to say yes please if I am licky enough.
Great group of cards, Sarn! I couldn't resist playing along! I hope Di is having a nice relaxing time in the treehouse!ReplyDelete
Yes, please on the beautiful stamps!
Love the cards you make. Great use of snippets.ReplyDelete
Just playing for fun.
Yes please to this beautiful stamp prize, and thank you to Sandma for donating it.ReplyDelete
Seeing your set of cards, all made from snippets, inspired me to run up to my craft room and make several of my own from the random bits and pieces that always seem to gather in and around my craft desk.I really like that one down on the bottom, with the envelope edge design and will have to keep that in mind for the future.
Still not sure whether you will be able to whip us into shape, or whether we will all be running amok, but fun is in the air!
Welcome Sarn! And what a gallery of cards, wow, what an inspiration.ReplyDelete
yes for the amazing prize, please.
crafty hugs xx
Yes please to the lovely prize. Now that's a way to clean out your snippets. I could certainly give that a try.ReplyDelete
Sorry Suzanne - I am unable to comment on your card as I'm not on Flickr, but thanks for submitting some snippets homework. Come and find myself and Di up in the Playground treehouse for a cocktail or two this evening! xxxDelete

Yes please for enter in the drawing, LOVE the CI stamps kindly donated by Sandra, thanks to her and also thank you for the cocktail :D!
Fabulous snippets cards Sarn, you HAVE been busy. A great idea to share the postings with Di, I hope she's finding the time this fortnight to put her feet up and have a glass or two of wine. I was lucky enough to win a prize in the Playground recently, so as much as I love the stamps, please leave me out of the draw this time. xxReplyDelete
Wow!! Sarn you have been busy! I'll have to see if my migraine will let me play. If so, count me in for the prize and one, or two, of those mojito's as well!ReplyDelete
Wow you have been busy Sarn and created a full homework set of snippet loveliness!! I myself have snuck into the playground via the back gate, and whilst mooching round the roundabout i riffled through my snippets and came up with a card that used them in triplicate - woo hoo!! So that's my homework submitted, and it's a yes please from me for the fabulous prize on offer this time. xxReplyDelete
I'm just popping in to see what you're all getting up to this week.....having lots of fun I hope :) Take care and I hope to be joining you in your next challenge. Crafty hugs, Sandra xReplyDelete
Helloo Sarn! Didn't recognise you with your feet pointing outwards! And I FINK the key to successful shoe laces is not to tie them together... that's what I've found anyhow :/ What a wonderful array of samples you made! I am here to submit my homework and am nipping up to the treehouse to give Dudley a cuddle and to see if I can sneak a sip of Miss Di's Mojito! What an amazing prize donated by the generous Sandma! Yes please, I would love to be entered in the draw. Hugs, Vicky xxxReplyDelete
I think trying to sneak a sip of Miss Di's Mojito is dicing with death - so naturally I applaud the daring act! LOL! xxxDelete

Everyone saying “yes” to the prize will be included in the draw. Xxx
Welcome to you as official Co-Admin for the Playground, Sarn! I would only say this to you, but well done getting inside so we can get up to all kinds of foolishness on the QT!! Ssshhh. Di won't see this, I hope! But, seriously, thank you for all you are doing to keep the challenge running and a special thank you for putting my "just straight up wodka on the rocks with a twist" on your cocktail menu! I'll be over after the swelling in my face subsides, unless you are putting on a play this week that requires ducks, quack quack! Hugs, DarnellReplyDelete
Thanks for the challenge. Yes to the beautiful prizes. Greetings, Elly Booij, The Netherlands.ReplyDelete
Sarn, So happy to see you sharing in the "minding" of the challenge and it's sometimes rowdy participants. I'd love an ice cream drink when I saunter over to the clubhouse... maybe a Grasshopper or Smith and Kerns? Nummy! Your snippets cards are wonderful. And I'll say a bit YES Please to having my name in the draw for your lovely prize!ReplyDelete
Yes please to the draw, even though I'm trying to reduce my stash!ReplyDelete
I just barely squeaked in with my card, and I nearly forgot to enter! This is a crazy month for us, as we're planning to move back into our house, which has been under construction for almost a 10 months.ReplyDelete
Yes please to the prize, as those are beautiful stamps! What fun to have Sarn and Di trading off running the playground, for twice the fun.
Can't comment on Flickr - so I'm replying to your comment here!Delete
It's a lovely bright and cheerful snippets card. Thanks for submitting your homework on time!!! LOL! x
I slipped in the last day with my ATCs which use a lot of snippets, everything was cut from small pieces of cardstock, even the bases, wonder why I have so many scraps?ReplyDelete
Just made it this time! I blame it on the new cocktail menu, too merry to craft. Wonderful use of snippets with so many cards. Yes please to being in the draw.ReplyDelete
