Results of Challenge #427

Hello Playmates, Sarn here . . .

Thanks for dropping by to see the results of Challenge 427.

I was pretty worn out from all that Maypole dancing and cocktail drinking, which made the job of picking three entries to showcase EVEN HARDER! There were so many lovely projects to choose from - but here's my 3 Top Picks in order of entry:

I love the card below, made by KATH, which uses up lots of leafy die-cut snippets made to look like flower petals with the addition of a centre circle for the sentiment. This card just says SPRING to me!

CHRISTA made a wonderful circular card (below) with traditional clogs on it in support of a friend who has taken in a Ukrainian refugee. If you nip over to her blog, you'll see the tiny clog key ring she crocheted too!

I chose SUE'S scrapbook page (below) not only because I think it's a great layout, but also because it shows how to use up some of your larger snippets. I don't do scrapbooking, but I can see it's a fab way to document your memories.

If you're one of the "picks", please feel free to collect a 'Top Picks' badge from HERE.

Next: the Prize Draw . . . drum roll please . . . the WINNER of the embossing folder and stamp set is entry No. 13 - Pat from Colourful Card Creations.
Congratulations Pat. Please claim your prize by sending an email to the Snippets Playground using the address shown on the right hand sidebar, with PLAYGROUND WINNER in the subject line. Please add your FULL NAME above your ADDRESS so that it can be copied and pasted for speed and ease.

There's still nearly a week left to run on the current challenge - just scroll down to the previous post to find it.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

  4. Thank you so much for choosing my card for the top three. Congrats to the winner.

  5. Lovely picks as always! Congrats to the winner!

  6. Fab selection and Congratulations to Pat on her win too

  7. Well no. 13 is unlucky for some but obviously not for, so thank you and also to Sandra for donating this lovely prize which I look forward to using. Great picks again this time too. x

  8. Success at last! I've been having a nightmare trying to comment, I just wanted to say thank you for choosing me as a pick!

    1. Just came to check the Playground out to see if anything was awry - and there you are - IN!!! Blogger 'development' (hollow laugh here) are tinkering around quite a bit lately and I'm sure that's the cause of some of our problems.

  9. Fabulous picks again, and congratulations Pat! Xxx

  10. Congrats to the winner and top picks. Hugz

  11. What brilliant picks Sarn - loads of inspiration here! Congratulations to Pat on her win :)

  12. Congrats to Pat on her win, and to the top picks as well. Kath's card is such a creative design with leaf dies substituting as flower petals, wow!

  13. Congratulations to the winners. I'm hoping to join in more often now, as we're finally back in our house after the remodel and addition. Still no functional kitchen, but who needs a kitchen to make cards?!! LOL!
